The idea of getting up in front of a class of children sounds nerve-racking to most, but for Kloe, there’s no place she’d rather be. Currently attending college on a soccer scholarship to become a teacher, she had everything going for her, but there was just one thing missing—a confident smile.
Kloe came to see us with a relatively straightforward problem—she had two lateral incisors (the teeth on either side of the front ones) that were smaller than she liked. She wanted them to match the rest of her smile, and it was essential that the result looked very natural.
After discussing her goals and preferences, Dr. Parry showed her some photos of other patients he had helped with a similar issue to give her an idea of what could be done. Kloe ended up having two veneers placed as well as receiving gum recontouring to give her the attractive, symmetrical result she desired. Dr. Parry took extra special care to make sure the veneers had the exact same shading as her front teeth to ensure they blended seamlessly.
On the day of her appointment, Kloe came prepared—she brought her own headphones and music to listen to while the team worked. Fortunately, we were able to give her an upgrade by offering noise-canceling headphones, which she appreciated!
From the moment she saw her new smile in the mirror, Kloe loved it! On top of being busy at school, she recently got engaged as well. Life has given her plenty of reasons to smile lately, and she has never felt more comfortable doing so.
